About Us
Pestex Services is one of the UK’s most trusted names in effective pest control and property disinfection, with over 40 years’ experience. Pestex Services has been family owned since it was established in 1977. Operating across Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire we provide a cost-effective and environmentally responsible service.

Pest Control
Using advanced pest management techniques, our treatments range from wasp control through to ship fumigation. We provide an innovative, professional and environmentally responsible service using Integrated Pest Management (IPM). This is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices.
IPM uses current, comprehensive information on the pests, combined with chemical and non-chemical techniques to eliminate your pests quickly and effectively.

Rodent Control
Rats and mice are the most common pests in the UK. They invade your premises looking for food, water and shelter. The infestations can pose a serious health risk by contaminating, soiling and destroying commodities and packaging, damaging equipment, buildings and spreading pathogens.
Their history of spreading disease frightens everyone. A single rodent sighting can easily drive customers away and result in inspection and prosecution that will certainly impact your business. Rodents will destroy valuable stock and possessions, consume and spoil food, and their gnawing and burrowing cause costly structural damage.

Insect Control
Pestex Services bring many years of knowledge and research into insect behaviour and treatment to ensure that the solution designed will deliver targeted and optimal results. Bird Management
Pestex Services remove avoidable costs through professional and humane bird control solutions. As pest professionals, we understand bird behaviour, so we can quickly identify locations around your premises where bird activity is most likely to occur, and the potential consequences.
Our approach is always about prevention first - and we have a range of effective measures and systems to prevent birds from creating issues, avoiding costs for your business. These include:
- Bird Netting systems, including flame retardant net to BS5438
- Sprung Wire systems

- Electric Bird Deterrent systems
Pestex Services are licenced by the Environment Agency as waste carriers and can clear away and dispose of bird waste effectively. The area is then treated with an avian disinfectant to remove any microbial activity, and with a suitable insecticide to control any insects or mites that might have been present in the material.
Fly Control
Pests such as flies and wasps are highly mobile and make no distinction between food prepared for our consumption and any other surface that they land on, walk over, defecate on or eat.
We offer a range of electric fly killers and fly screens to exclude and eliminate flies. All fly screens are made to measure and fitted by trained installers. Our range includes:

Our fly killer range covers small domestic and commercial units through to large, high capacity industrial fly killers. To compliment the design of your work environment, we also offer slim, lightweight models, and units disguised as up-lighters and ceiling lights for maximum discretion.
Disinfection and Fumigation
At Pestex Services we offer a wide range of cleaning and disinfection services. We are licenced by the Environment Agency as waste carriers, and have specialist staff who can discuss the issues on site and provide appropriate solutions.
There are many instances where specialist cleaning and disinfection work might be required. These include:

- building refurbishments, squats and fly tipping

Fumigation
We offer professional pest fumigation services to keep your environment pest-free, safe for people, and compliant with health & safety regulations.
Our services include:
- Assessment of import cargoes for fumigant residues
- Treatments for both export and import containers using phosphine
- Ventilation of containers imported under fumigation
- Sheet and stack fumigation of palleted goods and heaped materials such as grain and animal feeds
Property Disinfection
